The image features swirling and looping lines creating an abstract backdrop with shadows visible. Two silhouettes resembling soldiers or guards holding rifles are present, one stationary and the other in motion. Shadow-like forms resembling wrought iron fencing are present at the bottom of the image. The shadows and shapes give the impression of a scene viewed through a veil of tangled lines.
