The image features an etching showing a seated woman facing the viewer. She has delicate facial features, curly hair with a feathered decoration, and is dressed in an elegant gown with a fur stole. The woman holds a fabric or handkerchief and the background is simple. At the bottom of the etching, there is a signature that reads "Painted and Etched by B. Wilson 1751."
