(Julius H. Weitzner [1896-1986]); (Ehrich Galleries, New York); (their sale, American Art Association, Anderson Galleries, Inc., New York, 18 and 19 April 1934, no. 126);[1] Chester Dale [1883-1962], New York; gift 1943 to NGA.
[1] According to the Dale collection records (in NGA curatorial files), Ehrich had purchased the portrait from Weitzner, who in turn had bought it in Philadelphia from an owner whose name was unknown.
