The image shows a man seated in a chair. He has a beard, mustache, and short, neat hair. He wears a ruff, a dark garment, and a fur-lined robe. His right hand rests on papers on a table with a cloth. On the table, there is a sculpted bust and a closed book with a bookmark. Nearby is another sculpted bust of a bearded man. The background has columns, a curtain, and a view of a cityscape with a spire. It seems to be an interior with classical architectural elements.
