The image depicts two individuals, both having their entire bodies shown. The person on the left is seated on a wooden stool with legs spread apart, leaning slightly forward, and looking downward. This individual has short hair peeking out from beneath a wide-brimmed hat adorned with a small feather or tassel. They are dressed in a loose garment, possibly a cloak, and knee-high boots, with a long staff or cane resting between their legs. The second person is seated on a rectangular block on the right side of the image, with one leg crossed over the other. Their head is tilted downwards, obscured by a large, floppy hat. They wear a buttoned coat and similar loose, thigh-length attire, with either leggings or stockings exposed beneath. A cloak drapes over their back down to the ground. The background is plain, with no distinct features, giving the impression of a sketch or etching drawn on textured paper, enclosed by a thin black border.
