The image shows a group of people, most of whom are depicted from the waist up, gathered around a central figure seated on a raised platform. The central figure is a woman with gentle facial features, wearing a draped garment and a covering over her head. She is nurturing a young child, who is also partially draped, and they are both depicted with subtle smiles. To the left, an angelic figure with flowing hair and wings stands, seemingly in conversation with the central figure, while a kneeling young man holds a fish and reaches towards the woman. On the right, an older bearded man, wearing a long robe, holds a book open in his hands. The background features draped fabric overhead, creating a canopy effect, and there's a glimpse of a lion's head peeking out from the lower right.
