This is a drawing of two figures wearing elaborate costumes in an open space. The figures are adorned in theatrical attire and masks, and are positioned dynamically as if frozen in an act of performance or storytelling. Their clothing features flowing elements coming off of their shoulders and arms, decorative buttons down their torsos, and ribbons around their hips. In the background, there are groups of smaller figures engaged in various activities, and to the left is a small tree bending over. There are small details behind these figures suggesting a town or group of buildings.
