Artist, Italian, 1625 - 1713

The etching shows two central figures standing closely together. The woman on the left has tied back hair and a serene expression. She wears a flowing, layered attire. The woman on the right wears a layered garment with a headscarf, facing the first woman and appears to be holding her hand. Behind them is a man in a robe with tousled hair. Another figure is in the background to the left, among foliage, with indistinct facial features. The background shows a sky with clouds and part of a possible building. Tree branches extend into the sky from the edge of the image.
