The bridge and structures beyond it are portrayed with loose, sketchy brushstrokes. The color palette is muted, primarily with soft browns, grays, and touches of muted blue in the water and sky. Closest to us, the riverbank is textured, and a small, dark boat can be seen on the water. In the distance, bare trees are visible on the right side.
