The image shows a view from underneath an archway, looking into a courtyard towards a church-like structure in the distance. The horizon is obscured by courtyard walls and architecture. The scene features detailed brickwork and arches leading to a central building with steps, where a large cross with an "I.H.S" symbol is displayed. A cobblestone path leads into the courtyard. Two figures in white robes kneel, facing the buildings, while others in darker clothes walk or stand around. The color palette is earthy browns and sepias, giving the image an antiquated feel. Detailed lines suggest an etching-like technique. Doves in flight are framed at the top of the archway, set against a softly illuminated sky. A religious text in Latin is carved beneath the scene.
