Painter, American, born Russia (now Latvia), 1903 - 1970

This painting depicts large, indistinct, amorphous shapes with blurred edges in an abstract design. A dark rectangular block is at the bottom, with scattered irregular shapes above it. Near the top is another large dark shape, and it has two patches of vivid yellow green within it. The background is tan, with streaks of gray between the different shapes.
