The image depicts a person on horseback traveling along a path beside a stream. A village is seen in the distance, with a horizon high in the composition and clouds in the sky. The style features fine lines and cross-hatching typical of woodcut prints, with a color palette of browns and deep sepia. A group of detailed trees frames the left side of the scene.
