Discover the singular sound of Red Baraat, a pioneering band from Brooklyn, New York. Conceived by Indian American musician and jazz composer Sunny Jain, the group merges hard-driving Punjabi rhythms with elements of hip-hop, jazz, and punk. The band’s live shows combine virtuosity, party, and joy. Their 2017 NPR Tiny Desk Concert was touted as the #8 top performance of all time by New York Magazine.

Red Baraat has toured the globe at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Bumbershoot, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Peter Gabriel’s WOMAD festivals, and Dubai World Expo 2021. The band has released seven albums ranked in top 10 lists on Billboard, Apple Music, and World Music Charts Europe.

Kick off the party at 5:30 p.m. with a lively pre-show dance class led by choreographer, dancer, and educator Chitra Subramanian. Learn simple dance moves and master them together! No experience needed.
