The image shows a portrait of a man from the waist up. He is facing forward with his head slightly turned to his left, looking directly at the viewer. The man has white, wavy hair styled back and soft facial features with a slight smile. He wears a high-collared, elaborate silver coat with embroidered floral patterns, a blue vest, a decorative medal or insignia, and a cream-colored cravat. The portrait is framed with inscriptions and features a relief-style panel below it with cherubic figures and various objects, including a harp and a distant winged figure. The background is detailed and ornate, enhancing the historical and artistic theme of the portrait.
