This painting displays a forest with tall trees and a body of water at the bottom. At the center of the painting is a group of grazing cows. On the right, a person rests against a tree near the cows and appears to be playing a flute. On the left there is a clearing in the distance seen through the trees where there appears to be a tall statue surrounded by more people who are dancing around it. The trees almost obscure the sky, although fluffy white clouds peek through a small opening. The trees in the bottom-left corner are dark, while the clearing in the background illuminated.
