The image shows a railway bridge crossing over a gorge or river. A steam locomotive with carriages is on the bridge, with a person visible on the train. The metal truss bridge has intricate ironwork. The background consists of rugged hills, and a tunnel is visible at the far end of the bridge. The landscape features rocky terrain with diagonal lines formed by layers of stone. The color scheme is sepia-toned, giving the image an aged look. Vegetation is sparse in the distance. Piles of wooden planks and beams are scattered near the bridge.
