The etching shows an upward view of a city scene with historical architecture. It includes a corner of a building with a turret and spire, and a glimpse down a narrow street. The buildings guide the eye to a crowded street scene. The technique features cross-hatched lines for a detailed textural effect in the stonework and street. The color palette is black ink on cream paper. The sky has swirling clouds and birds. People and carriages add life to the street scene, framed by architectural details.
