The man wears a dark blue coat with gold trim, light blue trousers with a gold stripe, and a wide-brimmed military hat with decorations. He holds a sword and has a chest strap. The background is plain, and the floor has a subtle pattern. The text "Cavalry Corporal" is at the bottom of the photograph.
