The image shows a coastal scene with a view of the shoreline and sea from a slightly elevated perspective. The horizon line is in the center, with two distant windmills visible. The brushstrokes are delicate and precise, depicting textures and shapes without excessive detail. The artwork uses a monochrome palette of black and white. Close to us, a pathway runs parallel to the shoreline leading to small houses on the left, bordered by trees. A sailboat is seen sailing on the water to the right. The sky has clouds depicted with sparse, curved lines.
