The image depicts a landscape scene with a path stretching into the distance. The horizon is just above the midline with distant trees barely visible, separating the field and the sky. Dense foliage lines the horizon. The artwork uses a technique resembling etching or engraving with fine lines and cross-hatching defining textures. The color palette is monochromatic with black ink on a cream-colored background. Closest to us are bushes and grasses, guiding the viewer along a path flanked by tall trees. Wispy clouds are visible in the sky.
