The image is a printed card with a stylized depiction of two figures within an ornate rectangular frame. The figures are shown from the waist up, with one figure slightly turned to the side, cradling the other close. The drawing style is abstract, with simplified lines defining their features and clothing. Both figures have elongated facial features and are in draped clothing resembling robes. The frame has geometric patterns. Above the illustration is a handwritten message in black ink, reading: "Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year from Frances and Max(e)." The background is tan, and the signature "Max Weber" is seen beneath the illustration.
