Valadier workshop until 1817; Giuseppe Spagna and his son Pietro Paolo, who took over the Valadier workshop and apparently gathered drawings from the Valadiers and their workshop in albums; the album containing this drawing purchased by a private collector, traveling in Italy toward the end of the 19th century; by descent; (Artemis Group, London).
