This is a drawing of an architectural scene with multiple figures. The work presents a detailed and complex interior space dominated by towering arches and columns. In the foreground, figures gather and gesticulate. They are robed in flowing garments. The central figure is slightly elevated and seated beneath an alcove. The interplay of light and shadow creates a sense of depth and volume. The use of monochromatic tones accentuates the figures and the architectural elements.
