The scene is detailed with fine line work depicting textures like tree bark and the horse's fur. The sky is filled with detailed clouds contrasting with the ground. The color palette is monochromatic, mainly in shades of gray. In the background, fields and rural structures can be seen, conveying a sense of vastness and solitude.
