The image shows a wide perspective of a scene from slightly above ground level. Large trees obscure the horizon, with the base of a castle roughly in the middle. Two men are conversing on a grassy area in the foreground. A dense leafy tree dominates the left side, while a castle with a round tower rises above the trees in the distance. The sky is overcast with clouds in the background, and the overall image has a sepia-toned palette.
