The image depicts a classical architectural scene with natural elements seen from a slightly elevated point of view. On the left side, there are tall columns, a pot with plants, and a statue on a pedestal. Further back, an arched structure covered in greenery is visible. In the distance, a mountain is seen near a bridge with arches spanning a river or road. The etching shows fine and delicate brushstrokes, especially in the architectural and foliage textures. The color palette consists of primarily black and white, with stark contrasts creating depth and shadows. The horizon line is suggested by the base of the mountain and bridge, enhancing the sense of depth in the landscape.
