The image displays an array of diagonal and vertical lines forming striped figures in various active poses against an orange and dark background with swirling patterns. The figures resemble prisoners in black and white stripes holding large red axes, engaged in laborious tasks reminiscent of a chain gang. A white building with a green roof is located at the center of the scene, adding to the structured chaos of the composition.
