The etching shows the upper bodies of two abstract, stylized figures in a close-up view. The figure on the left faces forward with elongated neck and broad shoulders, simplified facial features, and neatly styled short hair. Their arms are relaxed across the stomach. The person on the right is in profile, facing right with similar minimalist features. Both figures wear minimally detailed clothing. In front of them is a table with a teacup and saucer. The background is lightly sketched, with a curtain shape on the right and a figure in the distance. The etching is signed "Fr. Radimäki" at the bottom right.

There is a large jug placed on a ledge along with a pipe, seen towards the center right. The background reveals a landscape with a house to the left and a mountain under a night sky with a moon slightly above the center line. The color palette is monochrome, using shades of gray to establish a serene, nighttime atmosphere. The jug is positioned in the foreground on the right, with the pipe beneath it, and the house and mountain are visible through what appears to be a window on the left side of the scene.
