The standing figure has a content expression, wearing Renaissance or early Baroque attire with elaborate hair and a feathered hat, while the seated figure is a young woman with a calm expression and intricate clothing. A smaller, possibly child figure is partially visible holding onto the standing figure's clothing. The background features a castle, trees, a body of water, and a building with windows and an arched entrance. The scene is enclosed by inscribed Latin text within the frame.
