Artist, American, 1903 - 1972

This is a photograph of a framed artwork featuring two figures and several cones. The artwork displays a dual representation of a dancing figure shown in both silhouette and detailed cutout form. On the left, set against a dark backdrop with a hint of text resembling the words "Défense d' Afficher," the silhouette figure is in black, exuding a shadow-like presence with one arm raised gracefully. It appears to be positioned within a rectangle bordered by a subtle red line. To the right, there is a more intricate depiction of the figure, dressed in a detailed period costume with ruffles and a wide-brimmed hat, also with one arm lifted in an elegant pose. Below these figures are four small, colorful cones in pink, white, red, and purple, arranged in a row against the background. The entire scene is encased in a dark wooden frame with a protective glass front.
