This is a drawing of a group of individuals gathered around a figure speaking on a raised platform. The scene depicts the figure, in a flowing robe, gesturing upwards as they address the assembled crowd, some of whom are seated while others stand. The gathering takes place against the backdrop of classical architecture, featuring columns and a domed structure. Details such as a guard with a spear standing near the crowd, and the various expressions and attentiveness of the listeners, add to the narrative depth of the scene. The artwork is framed with a decorative border.
