This is a drawing of an ornamental cartouche. The image features an ornamental frame with elaborate foliage designs and scrollwork. There are figures on each side of the cartouche entwined with the foliage. The centerpiece of the cartouche is left open. The style of the foliage and figures is detailed, suggesting a Baroque influence.
