The image shows a man from the waist up, positioned slightly turned to his left as he looks directly forward. He has a trimmed beard and mustache, with short-cropped hair. The man is dressed in intricately designed armor with a ruffed collar made of lace around his neck. His right hand rests on the handle of a sword, while his left hand is by his side. He is also wearing a chain with a medallion hanging from his neck. In the background on the right, there is an elaborately decorated helmet with feathers on a table or pedestal, against a dark, textured surface.
