This is an engraved portrait of a man, framed within an oval. The man has a long face, prominent nose, large eyes, and long, curly hair. He is wearing a formal outfit with a lace cravat and a velvet-like coat. Surrounding the oval frame is a decorative border with ribbons, scrollwork, and a coat of arms at the bottom center. The background has intricate line work. Below the portrait is the name, Joannis Browne, along with his title and the date 1681.
