The image depicts a painted portrait of a woman from the waist up. She is seated and facing directly towards the viewer with her right arm resting on a surface, holding a white vase containing pink and orange flowers. Her facial features include large, light-colored eyes, a straight nose, and a closed mouth, with tightly curled, brown hair falling over her shoulders. She is wearing a dark, long-sleeved dress with a white lace collar and a brooch. On her lap, there is a colorful patterned fabric with hints of yellow, blue, and orange. She wears a ring on her right hand. The background consists of a wall with an ornate, red curtain draped to her right and a detailed blue pattern behind her.
