The image shows a Venetian canal with buildings on either side, gondolas and small boats on the water, and a high horizon line made up of rooftops and buildings. The drawing style is detailed with fine lines and gray tones, giving a monochromatic appearance. Light creates contrast and depth, and the color palette is muted, mostly grayscale.
