Gallatin [1881-1952], New York;[3] on consignment 1927 with (M. Knoedler & Co., London, New York and Paris); sold 1927 to (C.W. Kraushaar Art Galleries, New York);[4] sold February 1927 to Chester Dale [1883-1962], New York; bequest 1963 to NGA.
