This is a drawing of an ornate cartouche with text and decorative elements. The central focus of the image is an elaborate cartouche that contains a dedication message. The text inside the cartouche reads "DIVERS PAISAGES Mis en lumiere par Iruel Dediez a Monseigneur LOVIS DE CREVANT Marquis Dhumieres. M. Callot inuente Avec privilege du Roy." Surrounding the text are elaborate decorative elements, including scrollwork and foliage motifs. Atop the cartouche is a crown resting on a crest-shaped emblem. The drawing is rendered in fine lines that accentuate the flowing, organic forms typical of this type of decorative artwork.
