The image shows a coastal scene with an elevated viewpoint. The horizon is in the center where the sea meets land and sky. There are detailed etched lines depicting swirling clouds and rocky formations creating movement and texture. The color palette is black ink on a cream background. Boats are in the water, some with sails, others rowboats. More ships are further out at sea. Large rock formations with possible fortifications or ruins are on the right. A small group of people is by the water. The scene conveys motion in the sea and sky against the solidity of the rocky structures.
