This is a drawing of a group of robed figures in a domed chamber. Some figures are on steps leading to a raised platform. The room has tall columns and a chandelier with flames. The figures seem to be in a ceremonial activity, with one holding a book and another holding a staff. There are detailed linework on the garments and architecture, giving depth to the scene. In the background, more figures are passing by an open window showing a skyline. The use of hatching and cross-hatching creates light and shadow contrast in the composition.
