This is a drawing of a decorative title page for a legal document. The drawing features an ornate frame with the title "Coustumes Generales du Duche de Lorraine." Two classical figures stand on either side holding drapes apart. Above the title, an intricate coat of arms is centered and adorned with symmetrical scrollwork. At the top center, an arm emerges from scrollwork holding an object. The bottom of the frame features a Latin inscription "Alspinal Par Ambroise Ambroise Imprimeur au lieu 1631." The entire image is detailed with fine line work.
