The image shows two individuals kneeling and praying in front of a large framed artwork or altar depicting a religious scene. The scene may be a pietà, with a robed and veiled figure holding another figure. Both individuals wear long, hooded robes. One of them has a small cross hanging from the neck area. Above the altar is an ornate architectural structure with an emblem or symbol at the top. Draped curtains form the backdrop. At the bottom of the altar is a Latin inscription "IN HOC SIGNO VINCES" with a cross inside a circle.
