Artist, French, 1592 - 1635

The image shows three full-body depictions of individuals who appear to be military figures or soldiers, drawn in a line art style. Each figure is standing upright, with their body facing slightly toward the viewer but with different stances. The person on the left is in profile, facing the right side of the image, and is holding a long pole or staff at an angle across their body. The central figure is facing forward and holding a pole diagonally across the body, dressed in a wide-brimmed hat adorned with a feather, while the facial features appear to be lightly sketched. The third person, on the right, is shown facing forward as well, holding a long staff vertically in their right hand, with a hat similar to those of the other two individuals. All three are dressed in what appears to be period clothing, involving jackets and breeches, and the figures are holding long poles or spears. The background is plain and featureless, with an inscription in the lower area of the image reading "Cum Privile Reg: Israel excudit".
