This is a drawing of a mass crucifixion scene with figures mounted on crosses. The detailed drawing depicts an array of crucifixions where multiple figures in robes are fastened to crosses that rise above a mass of soldiers and onlookers below. The figures on the crosses are depicted with serene expressions, and above them, angels or other heavenly figures float amidst clouds in the sky. The crowd beneath the crosses includes soldiers wielding spears and onlookers who appear to be part of the spectacle.
