This etching shows a cityscape from a low perspective. The lower two thirds of the etching are completely blank. In the upper third, a series of buildings are seen, with a bridge crossing from the left edge into the center of the buildings. The buildings are in various shades of off-white or light gray, and some have arched windows, chimneys, or flags flying from the roof. Silhouettes of small people and horses can be seen crossing the bridge, walking towards the buildings. The sky behind them is blank. The background of the print is off-white paper.
