Her face is in shadow and she wears a headscarf with a pattern or embellishments. The clothing appears heavy and voluminous with visible folds and texture. She is not wearing any jewelry and the background is plain. The etching is titled "A Lady of Genoa" and the artist's signature, "D.Y. Cameron," is at the bottom.
