The image shows a riverbank with a bridge across the water. The horizon is low, at the bridge level, which has railway tracks and arches reflected in the water. There is a large sailing ship to the right with smaller boats and figures on the dock. The style is etching with intricate lines creating textures and shadows. The color palette is sepia, giving an aged feel. The sky has wispy clouds.
