The image shows two full-bodied figures. The person on the left is positioned with one knee bent on a rectangular block, leaning forward while holding an object resembling a book or tablet. This person has wavy hair styled back. They are wearing a draped garment reminiscent of classical attire, and there is a tree in the background to their left. The person on the right stands with one foot in front of the other while looking back over their shoulder. Their hair cascades loosely in waves, and they are clothed in flowing garments similar to the other figure. This person holds an object that could be a tablet or plank. The background includes a tree and shrubbery. Above and to the right, there are symbolic elements, including a scorpion and scales set in what appears to be a sky or celestial scene. A rectangular empty frame lies between the figures.
