The sculpture is a round medallion featuring the profile of a man with curly hair and a beard, facing left. The man is dressed in a garment that appears to be a robe or cloak, indicated by a folded collar under his chin. Around the edge of the medallion is an inscription. The sculpture is made of a material with an aged, bronze-like appearance and a brownish tone. There is a small hole at the top of the medallion. The finely detailed rendering of the man's facial features and hair gives the sculpture a lifelike and textured look.
