The image shows a pursuit scene in a natural landscape. A deer leaps in the foreground while a hound runs to the right. In the distance, more hounds and potentially riders chase another deer. The intricate etching style features fine cross-hatching and detailed line work for texture. The color scheme is monochromatic, using shades of sepia and light-dark contrast. The composition centers around a large tree amid the chase.
